Photo Number 303

postcard Azo Triangles Up summer scene

This is a real photo postcard from 1904 to 1918.  It may have been a Labor Day Photo..the grass and weeds are tall enough.  They are quite a threesome..enjoying a day at the lake!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Labor Day..we have rain forecast and a high of 62 degrees..summer is most likely over.  Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

  1. What a fun photo - they look very care free, don't they?
    Happy Labor Day!

  2. Quite an unusual photograph in its way - great depth of focus for its day. Possibly taken on a "good" camera

  3. A man playing the field.

Did the photographer say, "Go, stand out in the weeds. No, not there. THERE where the weeds are tallest."

  4. Is the "sailors outfit" the woman on the left "swimwear"? :)

Hope you had a great weekend!

  5. Yes, there is that that sailor suit again. :-) It doesn't look like swimwear because the blouse is separate from the bottoms. That could float open and that just wouldn't be modest, now would it? Heh.
