It is an AZO Postcard used from 1904 –1918.

The horses have fly nets… woven strands that moved around the horses belly amd legs to keep flies from landing and biting.

Charles Lewis Weathered (b. May 30, 1893 d. Jun. 19, 1957) in Norwich, Kingman County, Kansas - Find A Grave Memorial# 41521767. Norwich is 35 miles from Wichita. Charles had a sister, Laura May Weathered (1892-1968) that married Howard Jesse Whitley Sr. (b. Dec. 2, 1886 d. Apr. 9, 1973 : Find A Grave Memorial# 53629585). 

The two men in the photo are brother-in-laws. Howard and Laura had Howard Jesse Jr. (b. Mar. 20, 1919 d. Jun. 1, 1997 : Find A Grave Memorial# 53646645) Howard Jesse Whitley Jr.'s memorial has an obituary that states he was survived by "a sister, Pauline Knapp of Bellflower, Calif."

This photo went Full Circle 144 on April 3 2016.

I purchased this photo in Grand Forks North Dakota at an Antique Mall. 

Two women out for a ride.  Do you see the dog? The ladies have long dresses so I will guess that this photo was taken in the early 1900’s.

This buggy may be the one called the Concord Buggy with side spring suspension, built in Concord New Hampshire. I am not a buggy expert.

This is a photo that I purchased at Aunt Ellies Attic in Bemidji, Minnesota.  It is a Real Photo Postcard.   I liked it for the horse and buggy and the child sitting in the buggy all alone..what was the driver of the horse thinking..he must have really trusted this horse...or perhaps he was an idiot.

Johnny was apparently the idiots name..as it was his racer mare.  Grace knew the idiot Johnny.  This real photo postcard is from 1904 to 1918, because it is an Azo card that has triangles all pointing up in the four corners where the postage stamp goes.
