Nov 26 1934  60th Wedding Anniversary

As we were smiling then on our sixtieth Wedding Anniversary Nov 26 1934 and kept a going for a week like a Russian wedding.
Ethyl B Lunn started us by having a tea on Sunday of about 45 former Bismarck people to greet us.  The Kodex was taken in Ethes yard.  Last week rainy days gave us both a touch of lumbago so we are looking at each ???? do much mornings.  Sincerely The Wakemans
If I did my math correctly they were married Nov 26 1874.

They lived in Mandan, North Dakota until Stella died at a young age. If I did the math correctly, they married in 1912, so the photo dates to 1937.

Update:
Nels Fredrick Larson born Sept 21 1860 in Sweden, died May 2 1954 in Sauk Rapids Minnesota.  Married Mary Johannesdotter Freeberg on Dec 25 1887.  They had seven children; Joseph Emmanuel, Neema E., Adplph, Ernest, Esther, Loren and Leslie.  Loren and Leslie were twins who died shortly after their birth in 1904. 

If the wedding date is correct then this photo was taken in 1912.

I suspect (but am not certain) that this is Algot E. Norrbohm (3 Jun 1886 - 28 Nov 1961) married Anna E Reilien (30 Apr 1887 - 9 Oct 1965) on June 24, 1908.

He was a painter and they lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 1930 US Census lists 10 children: Mariette E 21, Kirby R 19, Howard E 18, George W 16, Doris J 15, Elizabeth A 11, Audrey J 9, Robert W 7, James R 4, Joseph W 3 (in 1930).

They lived at 2829 41st Avenue South which is only a block from Lake Street.

The Hasty Tasty was a cafe located on Lake Street

Perhaps this couple had been married fifty years.  This photo was probably taken in the late 1940’s or the early 1950’s. This might be Tom and Helen Ford..they look like a wonderful pair of Grandparents!
