Cedar Strip Fishing Boats

Those boats are hard to clean out.  Junk from fishing gets caught in each “rib” so it is lots of work to clean them out.  However they are a nice boat to row around with on a nice day.

Oh I would like to go here again…I have been there once…at the lake not the lodge.  This lodge burned down in 1935. This is an Azo Postcard from about 1904 to 1918.

Mn Resort

Redbird and Blue Jay Cottages at Clark Gables Resort on Long Lake   Detroit Lakes Minn

I did a little research and found this resort’s address on Long Lake Road.  I have the photo ready to drop in the mail.  This photo is most likely from the 1950’s.  I love the window boxes and look at that clothesline all ready for wet swimsuits and towels.
