Photo Number 567

Onward and forward to 1914. I believe I bought this photo at a garage sale.

Wedding PR 1914 I think Garage sale I believe that this photo was taken sometime around 1914.

My Husband has another Great Uncle and Aunt that were married about the same time.

This photo was taken January 01, 1914.  Great Aunt Emma and the bride above had very similar taste in wedding bonnets or veils.Rupert and Emma Jan 1 1914 Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

  1. I like the low hat the mystery maid of honor is wearing with the rose(?) sticking out. Mystery groom is a good looking guy.

Great-Uncle's best man looks a little peed off... maybe he didn't get any wedding cake.

  2. Love your comments Iggy. The bridal headdresses are very similiar. I think their glasses are back in style again. They blend right in.

  4. The modern structure of a wedding party must have become popular in the early 20th century. I see that the bride's maids also have similar dresses to the bride, too. The think about the wedding "hats" is like those wild ones that were popular in the 1980s...a decade later they look very dated! These definitely say early 1900s, lol. Lovely families!
