Photo Number 474

Foreign looking photo
I will let the reader decide where this photo was taken.  I admired the timber post construction of the building on the right. Very Scandinavian.

Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

Update from anonymous:
The jewelry of the ladies are similar to what is often used on Norwegian folk costumes (bunad), but I'm no expert (I don't know what they use in Finland and Sweden).

  2. This could be just about anywhere it snows. :) I enjoyed looking at the clothing they are wearing. So neat and tidy. I assume the neck "jewelry" the two ladies are wearing are a clue to where they were from?

  3. Can't say where they are from. I'm curious about the all black/dark female costume.

  4. The girl on the right is wearing a cross that makes me think maybe we should look to the east. It looks like a "Greek Orthodox Cross" ...

  5. If it is Scandinavian, it is not Denmark.

  7. The jewelry look just like "søljer" that we use in Norway and Sweden. The hill in the background is very Scadinavian-ish.
