This is a snapshot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
A party someplace in a really large booth to sit five on each side. On the table I see a bottle of Jim Beam, Hamms beer bottles and a 7 up bottle, towards the back I see a bottle of Grain Belt beer. It looks like this party happened in the summertime….whatever…it will serve as our New Year’s Eve photo. It looks like a 1940’s-1950’s photo to me.
Thanks for stopping by.
No parties for us, we will be spending a quiet night at home.
Happy New Years to you and yours!!
ReplyDeleteThat *is* a huge booth - people were smaller back then but gee! Hamm Beer is a St. Paul label and Grain Belt from Minneapolis.
Same with us, Far Side: a quiet night at home. The New Year will be here to stay, no matter what. Hope yours is a great one! And a year for connecting lots of forgotten photos with long lost family, too!
