To Aunt Mollie and Uncle Harry From

Do you notice anything about this photo? They are both smiling. I enjoyed seeing all the trim on the dress and that a high necked fancy lace under shirt was worn under the gown.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
Update from Iggy:
Bercyle Claudia Cheney nee' Streeter was born to William Edward and Helen Marguerite Streeter nee' Schmidt on October 21, 1912 and died in Sep 1985 in Volga, Brookings, South Dakota.
Bercycle was married twice. She married Theodore Andrew Everson on March 7, 1933.
The Streeter family appears to have moved to Los Angeles in the 1930s.
Aunt Mollie and Uncle Harry are most likely Helen's sister and husband.

I think Hellen's older sister Mary/Marie married a Harry Cotten/Cotton but I'm not sure of this.

I hope this one finds a home, it is too sweet!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photo. I can't imagine this photo being lost.
ReplyDeleteToday's photo has become my all-time favorite on this blog! What a tender, adorable vignette. So much is captured in this portrait. So precious. I sincerely hope this one finds its home. There is so much expression contained in such a limited space.
ReplyDeleteI purchased an identical photo postcard earlier today in Arlington, SD. Arlington is one town west of Volga. My postcard has the same writing on the back, but it's written to Mother and Father.
ReplyDeleteAn earlier comment mentioned Bercycle married Theodore Andrew Everson. Among the photos I purchased is a cabinet card of Theodore at the age of 10 months.
Maybe someone will come by someday to claim this photo!
