This photo was probably taken in the mid 1930’s. My Dad thinks that the car in the background is a 1933 or 1934 Ford. At any rate it is a cute child! From the sign in the background, I think this photo was taken in a church yard.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your dad, the 1933-35 Fords all had that distinctive radiator with the "grasshopper eyes" headlights about half way up the radiator. Notice the bumper is but a slender ribbon - no way that would be allowed nowadays.
I always wonder how they kept their clothes dry -- those cute outfits
