Photo Number 542

This week we will look at some old graduation photos.  It is that time of year.  Here in Minnesota when a young man or woman graduates from high school, there is a open house with lots of food.  Neighbors and relatives come and go all afternoon or evening, you hope that they are not all bunched up on the same day..because the food is usually awesome!
Lotza Love Bob WHS PR Antiques This is Bob, he signed his photo Lotza Love, Bob.   Zintsmaster of Minneapolis was the photographer.  He was in Minneapolis in 1920.   WHS..right away I thought of Wayzata High School, because that is a ritzy area near the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

  1. The idea of open house sounds excellent. The joy of someone graduating, and then few things bring communities together like food and laughter. Thanks for sharing!

  5. WHS was probably West High School in Minneapolis. It was near 28th Street and Hennepin Avenue.
