Photo Number 1056

This is a group photo from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

Seven girls DL Antiques

This snapshot must be from the 1920’s.  The ties used as an accessory and the length of the skirts says 1920’s. . possibly 1925.

Thanks for stopping by.  Do come again:)

  1. I always love to see fashions from days gone by.

  2. The three girls with the ties, white skirts and white shoes could be wearing a school outfit of some kind.

  3. I get the odd feeling no one said the obligatory "one, two, three..." before snapping this photo.

  4. Traditionally, young females have often worn shorter skirts than adults. In this photo the three older females are dressed in longer attire, and the styles of all three of their outfits definitely suggest the era of World War I. So I think the photo was taken about 1918, give or take only a couple of years.
