Photo Number 2120

This is a Real Photo Postcard from the Flea Market near Grand Rapids Minnesota.

It is an AZO Postcard used from 1904 –1918.
The horses have fly nets… woven strands that moved around the horses belly amd legs to keep flies from landing and biting.

  1. Reminds me of a story I often heard about my grandparent's wedding day in 1914. They drove up to the preacher's house in a buggy probably similar to this on a rainy morning. The preacher and his wife stood in their doorway and he married my grandparents who stayed sitting in the buggy. Wish there was a photo of that day!

  2. Hmm. Odds are Holmes or Holman. But I can't find anything.

    The "couple" (husband-wife) (brother-sister) seem very young in the photo to me.
