Bonnie B Bittner Thomson (Apr. 4, 1911 in Iowa - Jan. 14, 1985 in Mount Vernon,
Linn County, Iowa)
She had three brothers that died the same day. Killed at Bertram, IA June 5, 1925 by C&NW fast train, all 3 boys buried together. William, Winslow and David are buried side by side with one long marker,
Her remaining brother Robert Edson Bittner 1917 to 1990.
Their parents were:
Edward W 1884-1921
Arlynn M. 1884 -1963

Is there a way I could get this old postcard photo. This is my mother as a baby. Wrote before but no answer back. Dr. and Mrs. E.W. Bittner were my grandparents.
DeleteBonnie Bittner is/was my mother. Yes, the accident was a terrible tragedy. Mom was the oldest child, just 14 when the accident happened.
