ReplyDeleteThere is a large Flaten family living in and near Benson, Swift, MN. The "Second" throws me - I assume this means "Jr."? Or perhaps the "First" one died at/near childbirth?
Yeah, that "second" threw me, too. It couldn't be his surname, could it? Doesn't sound quite right.
