Lancaster was the photographer in Mazo Manie Wis.  The town is now called Mazomanie named after a Minnesota Indian Chief.

    1. I will guess 1880 and he looks to be at least 60 years old.

  2. I found the name of the town to be fascinating.

    As to Mr. E. D. Johnson - hmm. There is an old Johnson family living in Mazo Manie according to the town's historical society. http://www.mazomaniehistory.org/index.php

    Maybe they can ID this gent? I found an Erik/Erick Johnson born in 1811 living in the neighborhood that might be him.
