This is a CdV from Craig’s Collection.
Lancaster was the photographer in Mazo Manie Wis. The town is now called Mazomanie named after a Minnesota Indian Chief.
As to Mr. E. D. Johnson - hmm. There is an old Johnson family living in Mazo Manie according to the town's historical society. http://www.mazomaniehistory.org/index.php
Maybe they can ID this gent? I found an Erik/Erick Johnson born in 1811 living in the neighborhood that might be him.
Now, there's a gentleman with a serious beard! Wonder how old that picture is. Do you have any idea on dates?
ReplyDeleteI will guess 1880 and he looks to be at least 60 years old.
DeleteI found the name of the town to be fascinating.
