Photo Number 1391

This year I found a few photos of women who served their time in the Military.  These photos were purchased at the antique shop in Moorhead Minnesota.

Hats off to the women who served!

Three Navy Gals Moorhead antiques

Three WAVES.  (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service.) In 1942 27,000 women became WAVES.

Two Navy Gals Moorhead Antiques

Two WAVES.

I wonder where they were stationed and what they did during their military service.

Thanks for stopping by.  Do come again:)

  1. Great pictures! I am so old that I think that skirt length is the PERFECT length for a skirt. Below the boney (or plump) knee; not too short; not too long to get in the way when you sit down. Love that hemline!
