Ernest and Norman Lee
This postcard is addressed to Eveline Hansen from Norman and Ernest. Nov 13 1911
The photographer was Bowman & Lyden of Fergus Falls Minnesota, Edna S Bowman was the photographer located at 107 1/2 Mill Street North in Fergus Falls. The second pose most definitely shows a woman’s touch.
Thanks for stopping by.

Such contrast in expressions in that first photograph. What a candid capture of those two!
ReplyDeleteResearching Lee is quite the challenge--I have Lees in one part of my husband's family, and I can say that from experience. Of all the family trees posted on Ancestry containing Norman Lee, son of Nels and Henrietta and born circa 1901, I only found one with the right family--and that was just an offshoot from the main branches of that tree.
I was hoping Oscar might have shown up as a brother to Nels...but no such luck.
Hopefully, a family member will stumble across this post. It is a darling set. It needs to go home!
Martha has an interesting obituary.

HI, I'm Martha's daughter, Melody. She lived with me the past couple of years. I wrote her obituary. I believe I also have a copy of these photos because I know I have seen them before. Norman and Ernest also had another brother, Grant Lee. Where on earth did you get these photos?
ReplyDeleteI purchased the Postcards at the Antique Mall in Detroit Lakes. I have the postcards all set to mail to you in the morning.
