Photo Number 2002

This is a Cabinet Card from the Antique Shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Mrs Chris Milstin DL ant
Hanson and Indrelee in Fertile Minn were the photographers.
This young lady is wearing a “rat” in her hair see how it is poofed up behind those curly bangs.  Rats were made by collecting your own hair and  forming a roll that was pinned in place and them covered with your hair.
She is wearing a gown filled with trims at the neckline and buttons down the side, contrasting materials, a bow and a brooch.  Quite  a lot for one dress. This photo was most likely taken in the late 1880’s.

    1. Hansons and Hansens there are many of them...the two could be cousins but I don't think there is a close relationship.
