This is a snapshot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Feb 29 1936
Snow on Feb 29 1936. Taken on the 5th Saturday in Feb.
Thanks for stopping by.
FYI: Five Saturdays in February is a rare calendar combination that happens every 28 years. 1936, 1964, 1992 and we can look forward to it in 2020.
I am looking forward to May 28, 20!5, not February 28, 2020! I hope it warm by then!
ReplyDeleteOdd quirk.. Februrary is such an odd month.
1936 was a cruel year in Minnesota. It hit record lows -60F Feb15 and a few months later hit the record high of 114!
ReplyDeleteIs that a building buried under that snow drift?
ReplyDeleteYes it is, I think most likely a chicken coop:)
DeleteGreat picture, Connie! Wow, Intense guy---that is 174 degree difference in a couple months. I think I'll quit complaining about the weather, now! :-)
