These are snapshots from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
My Dad says this may be a 1950 Chevrolet…I don’t know…the tail lights don’t look right.
The lady in the photos has her hands full with those two boys. The dog almost got in the photo.
Thanks for stopping by.
Update from Iggy:
A 1950 Plymouth Deluxe
My dad thinks those tail lights are Plymouth. He thinks maybe a 1948-ish Plymouth four door. He thinks the rear fenders are "not Chevy" and that Plymouth's had those "squarish fenders".
ReplyDeleteI'll Google later to see if he's right.

Delete1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe
Here is a sad looking four door model - http://www.cars-on-line.com/41259.html - it is missing the gas cap and the wheel covers. Note the shot of the rear - it matches exactly.
DeleteGoogle has photos of 1948 Plymouth with the chrome line on the back fender. I think Intense Guy's dad is right!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun photo.
ReplyDeleteAh...I see the looming shadow monster made it into the first photo. I have a childhood photograph much like that...including the shadow. Let's just say it wasn't 1950.
ReplyDeleteNor 1948 ;)
