Bathing beauties…a few of these people might have been in that leaky boat on Monday (Photo Number 1322).
I have some of these wool suits in the museum, they are heavy, warm and itchy looking…and I can only imagine what they smelled like when they got wet.

Wow, wool would be miserable dry so I can't imagine wet wool of any kind of garment.

ReplyDeleteI like wool socks - but you have to admit, modern synthetics make excellent quick to dry, non-chaffing swimwear.
