Photo Number 1115

This is a photograph from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

Four Generations DL Antiques

The photographer was H.A. Pries of Evansville, Minn.  He was a photographer in that area in 1902 so that is the date we will assign this photo.

I would bet that this is a four generation photograph.

Thanks for stopping by.  Do come again:)

  1. It does look like a beloved four generation pic. Beautiful clothing.

This photograph certainly does appear to be an image of a four-generation grouping, and I believe I did not see a nicer one in all of my several decades as an archivist. The great-grandmother's dress must have been very pretty in person. The little girl would not spend much time outside today sledding with my Colonel. Right now it is minus 23 degrees F. This morning I need to fix my Colonel an especially hearty, body-warming breakfast!
