Photo Number 185

Well the full circles are caught up with!  Lets look at some Mothers and Children for a few days.  This is a photo from the Antique Shop in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This is Evelyn and Colleen, Colleen was two months old and she weighed 11 pounds and 14 ounces.  This photo must have been taken in the 1940's sometime.

Thanks for stopping by, do come again:)

  1. How appropriate with Mother's Day coming up. She's a sweet baby.

  2. I always wonder how those babies stayed dry ---
well.. I guess they had rubber pants in the 40s?

  3. I'm going to guess late 40's. This is the way my mother wore her hair in our earliest photos of her with my brother who was born in 1946.
