This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
This is a Cyko Postcard they were used from 1904 to the 1920s.
Usually you don’t see men in sweaters…I wonder what the shamrock shape says on his sweater? The lady looks like she is all set to go someplace.
Thanks for stopping by.
I like this photo--- he could just be missing a button.
ReplyDeleteI think the photograpers mark says Seattle. There was an Expo there in1909. Perhaps the shamrock is a visitor or exhibitor pass.
ReplyDeleteI missed that one yes Canova Photo Studio 1114 3rd Ave Seattle
DeleteDo you know whow the people are or their history? That type of clothing is usually a sign of wealth. Back then, quakers, were wealthy. And, if it is a rppc, they had money because of how much it cost compared to reprinted photos onto a postcard
ReplyDeleteNo these people remain unamed. It is a Real Photo Postcard, they were affordable as far as photographs went:)
