Photo Number 903

This is a Cabinet Card from the Antique Shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

This is a very good example of a dark very practical wedding dress, one that could be worn again.  The wedding bonnet and the corsages are what distinguishes this as a wedding photo…and look she has taken his arm!

This photo dates from 1897 to early 1900, when Ole Flaten was in Moorhead at the 4th and Front Street address.

This is the back of the photo.

  1. She is so very tiny. Have you seen many photos where the bride has a corsage?

  2. That dress may be practical for its dark color, but I see some impressive detail in those front tucks.

  3. Oh she is so very forward! Scandalous... :-)
