This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop in Alexandria Minnesota.
More than likely a First Communion photo. J A Johnson was the photographer in Sauk Centre and Long Prairie Minn. The Minnesota Historical Society says he was in business in Sauk Centre in 1902 and 1904 and there is no mention of Long Prairie…perhaps that was in 1903…but that is just a guess on my part.

This is agonizing...a name is provided, clearly spelled, and yet I can't find anything on her. I wonder if the surname might actually have been Katz, not Katts, and it was written by a friend rather than a family member. Hope that photo finds its way back home!
