Photo Number 2207

This is a photo from the antique shop in Fergus Falls Minnesota.
Blanche Whiting FF Upstairs
Stafford in Minneapolis was the photographer. There were several photographers in Minneapolis by that name from 1891 to 1906.
I will guess that this photo was taken about 1905.

Blanche married Ivan Erle Whiting Sr. on Oct 19 1910 They lived in Ottertail County for awhile.

Update from Virginia:
I believe this Blanche Whiting was Blanche L Whiting Brown born November 11, 1881 died July 8, 1950. Both of our line goes back to Elisha Whiting. This lady married Chester Brown. That’s about all I know except I also have a picture of her in the photos that I inherited from my Mother Daisy Whiting Fletcher.

I am sending you three pictures from my mother’s album and perhaps you can find a descendant of your Blanche Whiting. I assume that Horace was a brother of Blanche.
Again thank you so much for sharing this website with me and giving me a chance at the photo you have. If you should happen to come on to the rightful owner of your photo please feel free to pass my information on to them.

    Sincerely,
    Virginia

  3. Between you and your fellow researchers, I'm ready to open my ancestry DNA box, supply the sample, and send it! I don't know why I haven't done so yet. The box is in my closet. Maybe I'd be more interested in identifying all the packed and inherited pictures of my relatives.
