Photo Number 2846

This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Three girls different names DL ant
Three girls.
I purchased two of the same postcard with one gal identified differently.
Three girls different names DL ant back 1
Jennie Roberts  Hattie Thiemer Roberts  Alma Thiemer Simpson
Three girls different names DL ant back 2
Ina Benorden Hattie Roberts Alma Simpson.
So the question is: Is it Jennie Roberts or Ida Benorden? Different handwriting…different opinions on who was in the photo.
Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Interesting that Hattie's mother has "Gauger" in her name as did Ina Benorden's mother. So cousins? Or perhaps Jennie is a sister-in-law. I'd bet on the Gauger connection and think it was Ina.

  3. Ina, Hattie and Alma's mother's middle names are Gauger. I suspect Ina was Hattie and Alma's cousin.

  4. Ina's mother Mary Gauger and Hattie and Alma's mother's Augusta Gauger were sisters.

  5. Hattie's husband, Frank E Roberts, appears to have had a sister named Jeanette (born Dec 1889). She lived in Ottawa, Le Sueur, Minnesota.
