  2. I posted the message along the side on my Flickr stream and got a quick translation from my friends there. It says "for Grand mother and Grand father" It seems to be old German script.

  5. So nice to have a little help from friends! I was wondering if that was German writing, but I don't really know German, just recognize some of the letters as belonging to German. Hope this photo makes a round trip home soon!
