Photo Number 2624

These are two photos from the antique shop in Floodwood Minnesota.

Priesters wedding Floowood ant

A young couple by the name of Priester

Mary Priester Floodwood ant

I am uncertain that this is the same woman in the wedding photo?  This one is marked Mary Priester

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. It appears that Mary's photo is labeled Preister instead of Priester. I wonder which it is? I found both of those names in Ancestry (many more Priesters). I think the 2nd one is not the same person (body build looks different), but it could be the subject at a younger age?

  2. I agree with Sue...those two women don't look quite the same. Maybe sisters? The facial features seem different, although it's hard to tell since only one is a (sort of) profile.

  3. Marion Priester (born abt 1901) (the wife of John)
    Birthplace: Hungary
    Marital Status: Married
Relation to Head of House: Wife
Home in 1940: St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota

She had a daughter named Mary and in 1930 US Census, Marion is called Mary.

    1. We are probably looking for someone born about 1880. I think this photos were taken about 1900. Possibly The Marion born in 1901 is a child of the married couple?
