This is a photograph from the antique shop in Nevis Minnesota.
The early1920’s to 1930’s brought about different looks in photography. The photos have the same linen rag base and gelatin emulsion treatment but they were enhanced with a toner coating fixer of sepia or silver tones.
This is a sepia toned photograph of a wedding photograph. Men’s clothing changes so slowly, a suit and a white tie. The bride wears a gauzy looking gown with a V neckline, her hair is simple and pulled away from her face or maybe it is shorter hairstyle. She carried an arm full of flowers.
