This is a wedding photograph from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
The photographers name is not clear enough to read, however he was from Litchville North Dakota.
The bride wears a white gown trimmed in lace. There is beautiful lace around her neck and on her sleeves…very regal looking. She wears a corsage and a bridal bonnet trimmed in flowers and tendrils. The groom wears a suit with a white bow tie and a corsage with a ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
Beautiful gown and handsome couple!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy your old photos. Evidently wedding bonnets adorned with flowers and tendrils were very popular in the 1900's as shown in photo 1245,1247,1248,1249 and 1250.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clothing. By being seated, they look exhausted!
ReplyDeleteGoodness - you've a ton of wedding photos!! If nothing else, they would be an awesome ancillary to the wedding dresses at the museum (showing the trends in fashion)!
