These are photos from a garage sale in Park Rapids Minnesota.  I think they were probably taken in the 1940’s or early 1950’s.

Perhaps this young man took his livestock to the County Fair.

This is an old snapshot from the Tin Ceiling a Antique Shop in Park Rapids Minnesota.

A man and his bull in front of a haystack..  The bull was the  foundation of his herd of cattle.

The bulls all had nose rings, I remember feeling sorry for ours.  He was very gentle and I used to pet him all the time.  One day I wandered into the pasture and was petting his leg, it caused a bit of excitement…I was saved by one of the neighbor boys…of course I was certain I was in no danger.

It would be nice if someone would recognize this old snapshot…I would love to have a photo of my grandfather with one of his bulls.

Three work horses and maybe a mule.

Most farmers took really good care of their horses and they were real proud of their teams.

Two men, horses and a wagon.  I have tried to decipher the name on the building in the background with no success.

This AZO postcard was used form 1904 to 1918.

I don’t know if Orville is in the photo or if the card was meant for him.

A person with a small foal and lots of chickens. Unfortunately the photographer cut off the persons head.

A farmyard; complete with a building, two wagons, a pump and a boy with a horse.  I love the boys big hat, checkered shirt and he has the rope coiled perfectly.
