Roy Hamilton Combs (13 March 1888 in Page, North Dakota - November 1967) was the son of Sarah Combs (1861-1947) who was widowed by age 47 according to the 1910 US census and Richard F. Combs (Dec. 2, 1855 - Sep. 29, 1906.)

Roy and his wife Belle (1888-1969) had son Duane A (29 July 1915 - 26 September 1991) Duane's wife, Fern Ernestina nee Goltz Combs (Mar., 1915 - Nov. 30, 2007)  which implies the baby might have been Jim.

This is a Azo postcard from 1904 to 1918.  A handsome looking man with a bow tie and his hair parted right down the middle.

This is a photograph from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

A distinguished looking gentleman in a very high collar and white tie.  He sports a pair of Pince nez spectacles. (nose pinch).  I am not sure how that cord/ribbon/chain works, most likely he could stick it in his pocket.

The photographer is Flickinger of Bethlehem PA No. 17 Broad Street near Main Street

I think this photo was most likely taken around 1900.

This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop in Perham Minnesota, which has closed.  I was sad to find the building being renovated, it was a wonderful place to while away a cold winter afternoon.

Leeson Portraits of New York took the photograph.  I will guess that this photo was taken about 1895, the top button of his waist coat is buttoned.  He sports a handlebar moustache.

I wonder what he did to make a living?

I found the mural behind them interesting.  It looks like a bridge over a river.

I suspect (but am not certain) that this is Algot E. Norrbohm (3 Jun 1886 - 28 Nov 1961) married Anna E Reilien (30 Apr 1887 - 9 Oct 1965) on June 24, 1908.

He was a painter and they lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 1930 US Census lists 10 children: Mariette E 21, Kirby R 19, Howard E 18, George W 16, Doris J 15, Elizabeth A 11, Audrey J 9, Robert W 7, James R 4, Joseph W 3 (in 1930).

They lived at 2829 41st Avenue South which is only a block from Lake Street.

The Hasty Tasty was a cafe located on Lake Street

This is a red and white edition of the Taylor Tot Stroller.  Here is it being used as a walker.  The foot rest has been removed.  This snapshot is most likely from the late 1940’s.
