This is a snapsot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
The two women and the little girl may be the same ones from photos last week. Numbers 3132, 3133 and 3134. This time they seem to be at some kind of carnival or fair.

That's what I thought when I first saw it, too. Had to flip back and take a second look. Hope there's another photo of these three with some clues on it. It would be nice to send this group of memories home to family.
ReplyDeleteI love the length of those skirts. In my opinion it is the perfect length - hides ugly knees and shows perfect calves, and not so long that it gets in your way. :) Looks like 1940's.
ReplyDeleteI believe they might be standing in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. If you look closely, you can see what look to be hand and shoe prints in the cement.
