John Henry Tierney Sr was born Sept 15 1863 in Minnesota. He died Aug 30 1945 in North Dakota. His parents were Jeremiah and Anna Tierney
His wife was Mary Aug 15 1865- Dec 10 1936 in North Dakota.
They had a number of children info taken from Irene Ann Tiernery Lotz obit.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering where the wife/mother was--her absence makes me wonder whether John was a widower at that point. Is it typical for daddy/daughter photos in that time period?
Anything is possible. I believe that this was his first child and his wife was probably at home with the other small children:)
