Full Circle 130

This Full Circle began with a comment by Sallysmom ,  “Could this be the Fred Bleese from Photo Number 1819?”  Well that Fred Bleese Photo went Full Circle 111 to Elizabeth….so I emailed her.

There were names…all names that were familiar to Elizabeth.  So I sent them off in the mail.

Turns out there were other photos of relatives already on the blog.

I think I found a possible match for Pearl. There is a family that appears on the 1920 US census living in Spokane Washington with the surname Henyan. The father is Clinton A Henyan age 31, mother Mabel A Henyan 38, and daughter Pearl I Henyan age 7, and a father-in-law Amenzo Baker age 67.

This is a snapshot from a garage sale.

Sisters no doubt, one with her hands full with those two boys.   The building is built with logs,  it could have been a settlers home at one time.

I spent a summer with the Swansons  (Maude and William).  Did house work and helped with the boys.

 

I found the 1920 census that mentions Wm Swanson with his wife Maude (Teal) living in Greenwood, Kossuth Iowa.

They have three sons in 1920  Glenn age 13 , Clarence age 10 and Donald age 3.

Glenn and Clarence would have been 6 and 3 in 1913.

Lodging with them is John Siebert with his two sons Leo age 13 and Maurice age 11.

They would have been 6 and 4 in 1913.

Other people in the household in 1920 were Maria Teal Mother In Law age 58, Mable Gettman Sister in law age 18 and Eva Gettman Niece age 2.

Ruby Loretta Casteel born Jan 21 1913 in Oregon and died November 9 1926 although Find A Grave says November 11, 1926 (That is the day she was buried) She died of Tuberculosis of the lungs. Her parents were Richard from Maryland 1862 to 1928, Mother Susan (Molver) from Estherville Iowa 1880 to 1927. Sisters were Rena May 1902 to 1920, Pearl Amanda 1905 to 1965 married a Hackett and Thelma Katherine 1906 to 1926. 

Children in this family : Richard Stuart, Rena May, Pearl Amanda, Thelma Katherine, Robert Leonard, Ruby Loretta, Arthur, Rebecca, Mary and Will.
