Marie Fagstad (15 Apr 1899 in Agnes Township, Grand Forks, North Dakota - 17 Aug 1996 in St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota)

Paddy Fagstad, the boy on the left (not known)

...were the children of Ole Simensen Fagstad (13 Sep 1854 in Lillehammer, Oppland, Norway - 15 Nov 1934 in Grand Forks, North Dakota) (Find A Grave Memorial# 95443954) and Marthe Severson (Apr 1861 in Lillehammer, Oppland, Norway - 16 Mar 1940 in Grand Forks, North Dakota)

Marie married a Mr. Casey. She is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, a LTC US Army veteran (Find A Grave Memorial# 474685)

Bertha married Carl John Fagstad, son of Christian Fagstad and presumably a cousin (Find A Grave Memorial# 112028901). Carl John was an early aviator/signal corps man.

Ella Flaherty nee' Fortune (1881-1957) shows her gravestone located in St. Mary Cemetery, Bismarck, North Dakota .
She is buried with husband Timothy E., her mother Bridget Fortune (1853-1945), and father Thomas.

Mary Bridget was the daughter of Ella Flaherty's son Francis E. Flaherty, MD (1908-1994) and his wife Helen (1906-1999). They lived in Seattle, Washington.

This is the gal from yesterday.  Could this be the same gal in 1908?  I think so. They have the same kind of glue on the back of the photos and they were in the same scrapbook and the hand writing is similar.

This photo was marked 1908.  Can you imagine those dark heavy socks in the summertime?  Note the parasol in the background.   What a nice porch to sit on.  Take a close look at this gal..I may have another photo of her tomorrow.
