The photo has seen better days.  This looks to be a WWI Army Officer.

Another gal in the Navy.  The only hint we have about this photo is that the snapshot was developed in Corpus Christi TX at Doc’s Photo Shop at 517 1/2 Chaparral Street

This year I seem to have hit a jackpot of old Navy Photos!

This year I found a few photos of women who served their time in the Military.  These photos were purchased at the antique shop in Moorhead Minnesota.

Hats off to the women who served!

Three WAVES.  (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service.) In 1942 27,000 women became WAVES.

I wonder where they were stationed and what they did during their military service.

This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

I was intrigued by the leather looking spats..or whatever they are called.   I thought that this was most likely a WWI postcard, but researching the postcard manufacturer (EKC)  they made this card in the 1940’s.  So I don’t know what to think.

Update from Navy Brat:

This is a Undress Blues Boot Camp (rate would be Seaman Recruit) uniform with Tan Leggings (Covers over shoes). According to my Grandfather's Blue Jacket Manual (1940)..."Leggings are worn by enlisted men of the Navy with any form of dress when under arms for parade or ceremony, or infantry or artillery drill, or a landing party, or on guard detail, or when duty ashore as patrol or beach-master's guard or as a mail orderly. With leggings, high black shoes are worn by enlisted men."
The Undress Blues Jumper (Shirt) differs from the Dress Blues Jumper in that there is no white piping at wrists/cuff and at V neck going back around flap. Under the Jumper is a white (Crew neck Tee) Shirt, Pants are called Dungarees.

No names or dates, but this is a US Army Soldier from WWI

The United States was involved from 1917 to 1918.  The actual dates of the entire war was 1914 to 1918.
