This is a snapshot from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

I bet there is a story behind the dog in a muzzle.  I wonder if he belongs to one of the ladies in the photo.   The ladies appear to be sitting on some kind of  wall or a wagon??   I think one is holding a camera.   This looks to me to be a snapshot from around 1910 or so.

This is a snapshot from the first antique shop in Dorset Minnesota.

A well dressed lady with a hat and an umbrella..she was determined not to get the sun on her face or to get wet.  The dress has a pleated bodice that extends down past the natural waist.  It has six huge buttons down the side and is calf length. The sleeves appear to be folded or pleated.  She wears feathers in her hat and her gloved hands clutch the umbrella.  She also wears a strand of jewelry of some sort.

My best guess is that this is a snapshot from the 1920’s.

Perhaps someone can identify the car in the background.

Lovely lady in a pigeon breasted gown.  Very 1900’s.

Algot Anderson is the photographer in St. Paul Minnesota.  He was a photographer there from 1894 to 1926.

This is a Cabinet Card from the antique shop near Lake Park Minnesota.

Gordon was a photographer in Owatonna from 1911 to 1916.   There is a notation that he may have been in Owatonna in the 1890’s. 

The young man is wearing a uniform.  It looks to me like he is holding a United States Forage Cap from the Infantry.  I looked for his uniform online with out any luck.  I think it may be from around 1888.

The ladies dress has a high collar with a matching bow at the waist.  The bodice is frilly but not pigeon breasted like those of the early 1900’s.  Possibly this dress could be from the 1890’s.  Her hat is rather large and appears to have flowers and ribbons.

This is a possible ID for two of the girls.
Grace J Beaulieu (b. abt 1885) of the tribe White Earth Miss (White) on the Reservation: White Earth Chippewa. Agency: Con Chipp
Sarah Beaulieu (b. abt 1879) of the tribe Red Lake Chippewas (Native American), Agency: White Earth, MN.
 
E. A. Weston is elusive.  I found a John T. Weston in Minneapolis in the early 1900’s. 
Since one of the gals is named Grace Weston..I assume that this was some kind of advertising photo, perhaps these were all Grace’s friends and he was just practicing his photography.

Edward and Katie Kahosed (Kah-O-Sed) lived 11 minutes away from Ebb Weston in Chief Township, MN in 1910. Edward and Katie were married in 1907..

I visited the grave of Kathryn L Kahosed 1873-1974 at St. Columba Indian Mission, Ogema, Becker County, Minnesota, USA 11 Oct 2015. I think it's highly likely she is the one mentioned in this photograph See findagrave.com 153946296
