Her parents are George Washington VanSchoyck and Arminta Davidson. These would be some names to look for in connection with the album. Her siblings are Wayne(spouse Edith Schale), Minnie(spouse William Fishinger), Harvey(spouse Lenora ?), Aubrey(spouse Nellie Proctor), Inez(marriage/spouse unknown)Clay(Irene Tinnon), and Monyleta(marriage/spouse unknown). ~AbraAbranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-31272315336139079552011-03-17T10:05:19.941-05:002011-03-17T10:05:19.941-05:00Myrtle Van Schoyck b: October 11, 1872 in Hilliar...Myrtle Van Schoyck b: October 11, 1872 in Hilliard, Franklin Co., Ohio d: October 19, 1951 in Shreve, Ohio married to Lemuel Dyer b: October 7, 1877 in Macksburgh, Ohio d: October 27, 1941 in Shreve, Ohio

http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/a/g/Sean-T-Bagby/ODT7-0040.htmlIntense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-24430985591022435052011-03-17T09:52:23.317-05:002011-03-17T09:52:23.317-05:00I found a Myrtle Dyer, wife of Lemuel, in the 1930...I found a Myrtle Dyer, wife of Lemuel, in the 1930 census, with three children (Vivian, Richard, Robert). She was born about 1876. Looking back, the 1910 census has them living in West Virginia, married 4 years, 2 children (Vivian & Richard), neighbors to Frank Dyer family, also born in Ohio(possibly Lemuel's brother). Frank & Lemuel are working in the oil wells. In 1920, they are living in Clinton Twshp/Shreve Village, Wayne Co. Ohio. Lemuel is an oil pumper for Preston Oil Co. in both the 1920 & 1930 censuses.

This might be our Myrtle. Now...to figure out her maiden name.Abranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-42081767594962517602011-03-16T23:43:50.557-05:002011-03-16T23:43:50.557-05:00Hi Norkio..yes I noticed that too..it is like the ...Hi Norkio..yes I noticed that too..it is like the ink on the back bleb through to the front on the paper..and came to just underneath the photo and cast shadows of the ink:)Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-50884551775938477482011-03-16T11:22:49.177-05:002011-03-16T11:22:49.177-05:00I find all the red ink interesting on this photogr...I find all the red ink interesting on this photograph. It's almost like the ink saturated the photo and gave it a rosy hue. I realize it's probably an illusion, but...do you see it too?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-73317987874077557652011-03-16T07:11:24.181-05:002011-03-16T07:11:24.181-05:00We have two or three clues - she appears to be abo...We have two or three clues - she appears to be about 18 (give or take a bit) so she would have been born around 1868-1875. She may (or may not) be related in some way to Susie Walcutt. And she was in Columbus around 1890.

From a quick look at the census records, it does not appear she is Myrtle Walcutt or a Ringhausen. She might be Myrtle Baker (a cousin on Susie's mom's side), or Myrtle Mohr (a sister in law). I've no proof - but will investigate further if time permits.Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.com
