Find A Grave Memorial# 1...Ah! Dat 'splains it!

Find A Grave Memorial# 106736195 shows the mother and father of the Agnes and Anna in my last comment are buried in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Ellendale, Steele County. Ellendale is in "Berlin township". The father, Andrew E Lageson was born and raise in Berlin - he was a neighbor of the Brynestad and Brandvold families.
Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-57258377663171674252013-10-18T10:06:29.948-05:002013-10-18T10:06:29.948-05:00Agnes Caroline nee Lageson Fosse(28 Sep 1890-25 Au...Agnes Caroline nee Lageson Fosse(28 Sep 1890-25 Aug 1981) lived in Bath, Freeborn, Minnesota and later Albert Lea with her husband Otto was a younger sister of Anna Jensina nee Lageson Jensen (Sep 1888) who also later lived in Albert Lea with her husband Arthur William (6 Dec 1891-14 Dec 1963). The two sisters lived a couple houses apart in Albert Lea.

Albert Lea is about 20 miles south of Berlin, MN. Bath is 6 miles from Berlin. I think I like this combination much better than the other Agnes. I would assume the mother was "old neighbors" or "went to the same school or church" with the other two.Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2320880361203053560.post-28085986828827106432013-10-17T16:53:44.844-05:002013-10-17T16:53:44.844-05:00I've never seen a photo-mask that design befor...I've never seen a photo-mask that design before. Could it be possible that the writer's two daughters are married--both to brothers Lageson? Of course, it would not be unusual for a mom to have re-married. There were so many young widows back then.

Love the hats! I have a "hat" pic of my paternal grandmother and her sister in law, showing off their grand hats. There is a Tina/Tena Brandvold (abt 1884 in Minnesota) who lived in New Richland, Waseca, Minnesota which is about 7 miles away.

If this combo is "them", there is an Agnes Lageson (abt 1897 in Minnesota) who lived in Berlin, Steele, Minnesota, that would be nearby. This Agnes was born Agnes Miller which confuses me.
