The second rows is probably written in german (not my language). Photos seems to be from Bolivia where Cochabamba is a City/Department and Arani is a Province.

    1. Interesting The Arani line to Tarata began working in Aug 1912 and then to Arani in 1913. Trains were powered by steam.
      I tried to contact the author of the article That Iggy found but my email program won't allow me to send an email to him. If someone else could email him and give him a link to the photos that would be great!
