Photo Number 2147

This is a photo from the antique shop in Duluth Minnesota.
Couple from Duluth DL ant
The Frans’ Studio in Duluth Minn was the photographer.  Turns out his name was Andrew P. Frans and he was in Duluth at 323 West Superior in 1898 and at 223 West Second during 1905.

This is most likely a wedding photograph. The man wears a tiny flower on his lapel and a pretty wild tie.  The woman must like bows as she wears one on her dress and one in her hair.
Thanks for stopping by.

  1. If a wedding photo, it dates after the shift to preference of white or light-colored wedding attire (rather than more practical darker colored outfits) for the brides...or she's just on the cutting edge of fashion statements...

  2. Pretty photo - I would have like to have met them.
