Photo Number 1933

This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.  It is an AZO postcard with triangles up so we can date it from 1904 to 1918.

The groom wears a suit with a flower in his lapel.  The bride looks to be wearing a short satin jacket with buttons both on the sleeves and the bodice over a gown, she clutches a small sprig of flowers and wears a full length bridal bonnet trimmed in flowers and trailing vines.  Neither look real happy and he looks to be the younger of the couple.

This is the back of the postcard.  One name:  Mr. Gustav Abraham? or Abrahaus ? Possibly he is the recipient of this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. There are a couple "candidates" both Gustav Abraham. Nothing "definitive" here.
