Photo Number 1612

This  is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.

Emily and Truman DL Ant

Emily and Truman

Emily and Truman back DL Ant

To: Uncle Lewis Davis

The only other hint we have is that it is an AZO postcard with squares in the stamp corners.   Which leads us to the photo being taken sometime from 1925 to 1940.

Thanks for stopping by.  Do come again.

  1. Well, the odds were somewhat favorable that either Truman or Emily were a "Davis" - but I couldn't locate a Truman Davis with a wife of Emily, or a record of an Emily Davis marrying a Truman.

But... the Truth is somewhere out there.

    1. ...likely under the guise of Uncle Davis being brother of Emily's mother, or some other such hidden link...

  2. There is the photographer's stamp at the bottom right corner. Any chance of deciphering that one?

    1. I think I see (something) M Gurrent below Walleskes (I'm about 50-50 on this one!)

  3. And on the back it says 'MADE IN CANADA'.
