Art Leonard and Rose Heindel
It is a KRUXO Postcard they were used from 1908 to the 1920’s. I will guess that this was taken more in the 1908 time frame. The bride wears a simple blouse which could be pigeon breasted and a skirt. The groom looks like he is wearing a checkered suit that might be a little large for him. Thanks for stopping by. Do come again.
Update from Iggy:
The 1930 US census shows the couple as divorced.
Arthur Franklin Leonard (Jan 1886 in Woolstock, Wright, Iowa - 13 Sep 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota)
Son: Lawrence L Leonard (8 Aug 1909 in North Dakota - 13 May 1982 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) :
The son married Veva M. Miller (7 Aug 1903 in Ohio - 29 Mar 1988 in Minneapolis, Minnesota)
She is very pretty. His suit reminds me of pajamas!
ReplyDeleteI found a Rosa L Leonard with husband Arthur in the 1910 census and the 1920 census. In 1910 she has a child named Lawrence who is 0 years old. She was born in North Dakota about 1891 or 1892. Valley, Dickey, North Dakota. Her husband was 24 in the 1910 census. They lived with Arthur's Brother Albert and with servents Isaak Tolofson and Roy Hackman

And in these two issues of the newspaper 'Dickey County Leader' of February 1912 and July 1912 the couple Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leonard are mentioned having entertained dancing parties.
