I think this is Carl Odie Bender (Mar. 12, 1901 in West Virginia, USA - Sep. 17, 1991 in San Bernardino County, California, USA) husband to Oriska (Harlan) Gwynn Bender (1900-1990).

    I think this is Carl Odie Bender (Mar. 12, 1901 in West Virginia, USA - Sep. 17, 1991 in San Bernardino County, California, USA) husband to Oriska (Harlan) Gwynn Bender (1900-1990).

    Carl's findagrave (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=30333450) - His first wife, Effie, died in 1953 - so I would think the photo dates to sometime after that.

      There is a photo of Carl with his siblings in Ancestry.Com - this is definitely "him."
