This is a Real Photo Postcard from the antique shop in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
It is an Artura Real Photo Postcard which dates it 1910 to 1924. I think it is from around 1910 to 1915. Beautiful young women, some could be sisters..we can see that several are smiling. They all have gowns similar in style but different fabrics and necklines. I wonder how much discussion there was about who was wearing what? Perhaps it was all about their hair decorations.
Thanks for stopping by. Do come again:)
Lovely. Perhaps it's a class photo. They don't look related.
ReplyDeleteIt's a grand photo....they must have been so proud.
ReplyDeleteAmazing find!! Love the dresses and the hair and how the photographer lined them up according to height!
ReplyDeleteNow, that just makes me want to know the rest of the story!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fine lineup for its time. I am in awe of the hair do that has two pom poms, one on each side of the head.
ReplyDeleteThese old photos are amazing, it's too bad that people were unable buy instagram followers back then or even have access to that type of media. Now we can take a picture and send it world wide.
ReplyDeleteShame there are no names on this photo - if this was my family I would "die for it"!
