Update: From grandmavickieann
The 1920 US Census finds Gladys and Esther Stranney, who were born about 1913 in SD, living in Indian Lake, Nobles, MN, with parents Peter and Stella, and siblings Doris and Pharos. Peter, born in SD, managed a cream station. Stella was born in ND.

Update from Iggy:
And in 1930's US census, the twins are 17 years old and in Lakefield, Jackson, Minnesota - which is close to where one of the last set of named twins (photo 849) lived.

Gladys E. Stranney, born 7 April 1912 passed away on 20 April 1993 in Rock county, Wisconsin.

It appears that most of the family moved to Alma Center, Wisconsin around 1940. Father Peter died there in November 1944 at the age of 63. Sister Carol was a frequent singer in their church, listed many times as singing songs for other poeple's funerals. Pharos Stranney, was also called Pete, and he died in Milwaukee (Waukesha), WI in 1999.

I can't tell is Gladys ever married but am leaning toward "not", she passed away in Beloit, WI.

I don't know what became of Stella or Esther. Given social security records started being created and handed out in late 1937-1938, it is very possible Esther was already married, being about 26 years old by then and registered under her, unknown to me, married name.
